The start of something amazing

Since the public launch of this website approximately two weeks ago a lot has happened! I am currently in the process of finalizing the incorporation of my non-profit society as well as contacting the Canadian Revenue Agency for a 'charitable status.' Today (Friday, Aug 19th) I was profiled in a fantastic article in my local newspaper the Campbell River Mirror; see the article here. I am also currently in the process of shopping for a training vessel which will be used over the next few months to test out crew members, equipment and various sailing techniques. The donations have been rolling in and they are greatly appreciated!
